The thing is, if you do what Immortal Wombat describes, you will have part of the game in English, part of it in Italian, which can be really annoying and disorienting when playing. What might be preferable would be to convert your Italian version of the game to an English version first, and then install AoM or any other mod you'd like. Then the entire game would be in English. On a seperate but somewhat related note, we currently only have the English, German and French text files available for these kinds of things. For the source code efforts, other modmakers and regular players who might prefer an Italian language version of the game over anything else, it would be really nice to have a full set of Italian text files. Maybe you would be willing to do me a favour and zip up your ctp2_data\italian\gamedata folder and attach it in this thread (or email it to me, see my signature for my email)? I would be most grateful...

Italian files, Locutus? Just get the latest version of our source code project and vola you have them. To be precise I added all the strings that needs translation to these files in English. We are just missing a translator.

Well Adriano of course that still means that you can help us by translating these strings.

Well, that's good news, but I'd like to have an original out-of-the-box set without having to manually remove all the extra strings added by the project...

Almost. As you can read here, I'm still looking for the Italian Scenario files and if possible the sound.zfs file, providing the unit sounds in the Italian version of the game are actually in Italian (it's quite a large file, but I would really like to have it if it's unique).

Yes! Sound.zfs is 21MB!!!....so I can't use the upload service...What can I do?

You could email me (though I'm not sure if there's a cap to how big emails can be, never had any problems with anything up to 20 MB but never tried anything bigger -- but if that's a problem you could split it in two).

Or you could upload it to the Modmakers Depot, which everyone here is free to use as they see fit (as long as the files are CtP-related). You'll need to use a FTP client to upload.
