I tried to download Modswapper and all I Got was this

The requested URL /modswap.zip was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

There used to be one at Hexagonians site but it seems to have gone and the one on the modmakers site seems more out of date than the one I have.

      link removed

I get a 'file doesn't exist' message. Any chance someone could put modswapper into the files area? Or am I just looking in the wrong place. I can't get modmanager to work either.

Try the "Miscellaneous" section of the Files area. You should find both ModSwapper and ModManager.

i think my problem is i do not have the file:
                          \ctp2_program\ctp\userprofile.txt
is this a problem? how do i solve this? I have installed CTP2 and patch 1.1 it is english version.
                          Thanks.

Just put the ModManager.exe file in the Call to Power 2 folder (the one that contains the folders ctp2_program, ctp2_data, Scenarios, etc.), then create a shortcut on your desktop (if you wish).

As for the userprofile.txt, just start a game of CTP2 and the file should be created.

After you install your Mods, start ModManager, click the "Manage..." button, then click the "Seek Modswapper mods" button. The "Exit" button will then take you back to the main ModManager window to choose your mod and start your game.

                            I think...

Sorry about that - looking back at it now, you're right - I'll add a section on installation (at the time I was assuming that people would read the installation instructions in the forum thread, but of course that's been archived now).
