I was ust thinking the other day about a way to replicate strategic resources and was wondering if it was possible to:
Have unique tiles with resources on it (i.e. a desert with oil patch on it)
You then build a Tank Factory only on those tiles when tech available
To build a tank you select the tank TILE IMPROVEMENT (as upgrade to tak factory and cant be built unless you have a factory on it) and it costs Pw
but this is the SLIC question: is it then possible to have the TANK TI automatically removed/pillaged and create a Tank unit in its place?
I think the AI can handle the TI part although it wont know its building tanks but the one disadvantage is that the AI might not be able to actively seek out theses resource tiles...
