  • Pillage Gold Cost?

Wondering if anyone has seen these ones. Firstly I have a small code to give to the pillager a 0-30% bonus of pw for a tile that is pillaged to reflect plunder. (Remember in history how many plunder raids led to main battles (Horns of Hattin and Crecy being just two).

1)I was pillaging my own tile improvements and noticed each time I did, I was deducted 500 gold. (Obviously I was cleaning up a few stray tiles that were no longer needed from captured enemy cities that were disbanded).

    2) I cannot remove a pasture tile from Cradle by pillaging. When I pillage, I get the PW bonus from the code but the tile stays there, and, even if there is a road with it, the Road stays there. This one is particularily curious.

You cannot pillage tile improvements on land noone own, I wrote a small piece of slic code that prevents this. But don't search now for that piece of code, if you remove it and you pillage the unowned land then the game crashs.

Thanks Martin, I know about only being able to pillage tiles within borders.

But what I am talking about is the pasture tile in cradle inside borders, mine or the AI. I cannot remove it by pillage, even if there is a road underneath it, neither will be removed by pillage.

I wonder if anyone else had seen that?
