Having problems with mod's and losing the ability to attack

UPDATE:

nevermind.... I was at peace...

I think it has something to do with changing the .txt files ingame.

I changed some simple stuff like strategy...

and no more attacking



this has happened before, non source as well.

I think the save game saves stuff about what rules were loaded in the past.

it's certainly related to the gamefiles...

all i did was change some slider's in strategies.txt and none of my saves will allow me to attack....

interesting thing to remember when it comes to playtesting mods and modifying games...
