Whats the difference between the CtP2 Apolyton Edition and the "source code project" and do i need the "source code" to play the AE?

The source code project makes the Apolyton Edition of CTP2 from the CTP2 source code, and modifies the source code to improve and fix the game. To play the game you don't need the source code, unless you want to modify, test, and improve yourself the game.

Worst bug? Come on, you can play the game, you just have to disable wonder movies.

In fact I got it working in the debug version, but the release version now refuses to draw anything on the screen, that's worse.
