CTP2 - AE Multiplayer

Hello,

after some tries of playing CTP2-AoE (and original CTP2 with first patch and altered DLLs) without success, me and my friend want to start playing CTP2 in LAN if we meet each other.

Is the AE fully functional in LAN-Modus? Should we use the CTP2-Original version with patch?

Is there a possibility to play CTP2 (with or without AE) via Internet in a LAN? We tried Hamachi, but we didn't see each other in the Lobby.

CTP2 Apolyton Edition is not very well debugged in MP. As far as I know MP already crashes before you have fully loaded the game.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to debug MP alone.
