    That was it! It's weird, normally in AE, it asks me if I'm sure if I want to do that, that it will mean war, cradle does not. Which means I have to declare war first.

      I don't know why, but it crashed on me at turn 167.

      I am playing a modded version of your game, I multiplied all the tech costs by x8, and modified the diff_db turns by x8 and divided the yrs/trn by 8 (rounding up). This could be causing it if there specials events that are supposed to happen on certain years, but it's a dll crash, not a debugslic crash. Oh well. There goes my epic game of cradle iii

      Am I supposed to use only one of the cradle iii updates? Or do I use both?

        I found a crash relating to clerics that I experienced while testing this, though I don't know if it will occur with vanilla ctp2 or just the source code version.

        I'll post some more detailed info later.

          Events are scripted to turns, not to years, so this should not be causing a problem.

          I would probably trust the default setup a little more than the Apolyton Source Code for a more stable game...at the same time the last Cradle game I played was with the Source Code and I had no issues. I recall having a crash, but I went back to an earlier save and replayed the game with no further problems.

          What you may need to do is save the game more often and then if it does crash, go back to an earlier save and replay. (keep autosave on, but depend on an actual saved turn whenever possible)

          Each of the updates are geared toward your setup (default CTP2 or the Source Code) so you only need the update that corresponds.

            I had to do that with AoM, the save scumming so to speak. Thanks for the info. I love the new interface. So I don't want to leave it. I'm just gonna start a new game and get into the habit of save scumming other than ctrl-s

              My goal is to have the next update ready to go after Thanksgiving. And if possible, I'd like to upload here at Apolyton. The current files are on a public server service, but the files only have a one month lifespan.

              If there are any suggestions, this is the time to make them.

              ADDITIONAL ADJUSTMENTS FOR NEXT UPDATE
              - Unique Wonder movies and pics for all Wonders, to replace generic placeholder art now used. (finished: Angmar, Dwarves, Easterling, Gondor, Harad)
              - Added: Gov-specific Melee units play option...with the exception of Mordor, who will not have this limitation. You will be able to upgrade those Melee units, but the gold cost will be very steep. (This gameplay feature will be meant to be played as anyone but Mordor.)
