problem starting

i finally got CtP2 and i have vista.

However whenever i click on the shortcut or play from the auto run i get a message saying failed to initialize with this (0xc0000005)

Can anyone help me?

Have you tried win98 compatibility mode?

i'v tried every compatibility mode from win 95 up to xp same error

I found a thread complaining of the same problem here.

Maybe try playing the wonder movies first, to make sure you have the Indeo Video codec.

Other than that you could try the Apolyton Edition. That can be downloaded from here.
