Fast / Quick Unit Move

It's been a while since I played CTP II, but I think I remember there was a way to make your units move more quickly -- especially when they are moving long distances across rail, by holding down a key.

Does anyone remember how to do this?

You can change unit speed in the single-player > options > graphics menu before the game.
