Cannot go to new turn...

I have added all the MODs to CTP2 that I find in the Apolyton webiste and I find that at a certain date most of my cities have revolted and I cannot proceed beyond a certain year - there is a red bar below the year.

Has anyone else experience this problem?

Maybe you should make your citizens happy, so that they won't revolt. One thing you can do is to use the sliders, but more effective are entertainers and buildings, like temples. And you shouldn't have much more cities than your current government allows.

Thanks, Martin. Your advice is sound.

But also my great weakness is I always want to try to new MODs. However,most of my empire suddenly erupting was a nasty surprise! I am now trying only one of the MODs now, Ages of Man, and seeing if that makes a difference.
