  • CTP2 & Mouseproblems

    I got a Macbook Pro with VMWare Fusion and want to play CTP2 when I'm on the road. It works fine, but the mouse is unsusable. It jumps around (Trackpad and external mouse). Perhaps it has something to do with a wrong setup resolution. but I can't change that via the menu - didn't manage to hit the button

    So...there seems to be no way to play in a window. How can I change the resolution settings? A cfg-file anywhere?

    Thanx!

    Weird, is the mouse too fast or it just jumps around without scrolling?

    In userprofile.txt in ...\ctp2_program\ctp folder there are the lines:

    ScreenResWidth=1024
    ScreenResHeight=768

    I don't think you can use completely custom resolutions though. Just the ones it would offer in-game. I never tried changing it in the file though.

          I found "Mousespeed=" in the same file. I set it to "0". So its better....not good...but better. Perhaps someone else got another idea.

          How far is the Macport of CTP2

            Some quick googling (VMWare Fusion mouse jump) suggests it might be a problem with VMWare Fusion. At least it brings up a few entries. I never used the program though. Is there any way to configure the mouse for VMWare?

            Perhaps you could try updating the software if it's not up to date.
