Hello
I want to play call to power 2 online with my brother.
(not the email onlinefunktion)
Is there a update to download it?
And is there a patch that stop the syncronisationproblem, in lan games? .. it always set the cities to the beginning (visual) and other stupit things... i think it don´t influens the gameplay but it don-´t look good. Maby you can help me with this things.

You will need the Activision 1.11 patch, it improves some very minor things in multi-player. You can download it from Apolyton's download section.

Hello everybody,

maybe somebody can help me? I tried to play CTP2 via Internet, but I didn't find a server. I have installed the currently apolyton edition and I hace done what you described before - but I still didn't find a server.

I couldn't find the server anymore either... but after some searching, I found a new servers.dat file, which has 3 servers!

I've attached it to my post, download and extract it to your ...\ctp2_program\ctp folder.

As my friend and I played at last CTP2 with IPX (20 years ago), there were mostly a "synchronic-mistake" and we cannot finish very good games. Do you know if the community could improve MP-Games?

Of course, but only if the problems are reported. If you do find any bugs or problems with the Apolyton Edition MP, then please report them in the thread below:

Don't forget to enable logging in your userprofile.txt (in the same folder as the servers.dat), look for the line "EnableLogs" and make sure it says "EnableLogs=Yes". This will record crashes.

The resynchs can be reduced by playing with less players or smaller maps.

Unfortunately it didn't work to play via Internet, because he who enter to the game of the "creator" will cut off always at this moment as the game data will transmit.
We tried to play with the lastest Apolyton Edition. It is possible that we can only play the "normal" version with the patch 1.1 via Internet?

Did the person that cut off crash to the desktop, or did they just exit back to the lobby?

If you crash to the desktop you might have a crash.txt log.

If you have problems with the AE, then unfortunately at the moment yes, that's your only option.

Through a google search I found the latest servers.dat file on these forums:

I also recommend using only the 911.alink... server, as I don't know who hosts or maintains the others.
