This is pretty fun
Surviving the first few turns is rather challenging, after that you have some breathing room to build up an army. You'll be under assualt the whole game, but thanks to the rather incompetent AI you should beable to survive. I'm curretnly fighting my way through the Isengard and Mordor Garrison's.
The scripted events seem to be rather buggy: I can't trigger the Ent event, Frodo and Sam were killed in Mordor but Sauron didn't get the ring, and the Pippin/Merry events aren't working properly.
The tech tree and wonders are very cool
