The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

First build Caravans (research Trade) or Freight Transports (research Global Economics I think) in your cities.
Then click on the camel icon on the main interface, then select a route and press the "create route" button.

Here are all the german string files I have, just paste into your English folder. But be warned I only have the apolyton edition on my computer so there might be a game loading problem. if so post whatt hey are and we'll tell you how to fix them.

Actually that is not what you should do. Simply, because this has the disadvantage that you have difficulties to switch back and more importantly you have to do it again with every playtest release.
So what you should do is to go to your ..\ctp2_program\ctp\ there is a file called civpaths.txt. Open it with a text editor of your choice and look for the line that says english, replace it by german and the game reads the files from the german folder. If your are missing some unit sounds you can copy folder ..\ctp2_data\english\sounds\ (if I remember correctly) to ..\ctp2_data\german\sounds\. If you don't do this you will just miss some sounds (if at all), there are no other problems.
