  • Announcement: Two New CtP2 Staff Members

The Apolyton Staff Room is starting to feel crowded as yet more people have signed up for a shiny staff badge. Long-time respected Call to Power II community members and modders E and BureauBert have been asked and accepted the role of joint content editors and forum moderators for our CtP2 section and forums. They succeed Locutus after his promotion to co-owner/administrator [see story] so that he can focus on more general site maintenance and development.

While as a commercial franchise Call to Power may be dead, its modding community is still very much alive. So the ambition of E and BureauBert is to expand our CtP2 section with a lot of new information on modding, Ages of Man, the Source Code Project and anything else that might be developed by the fans, merging some of the content of BureauBert`s own website and modding knowledgebase CtP2 Bureau into Apolyton.

Thank you, gentlemen! I am currently busy with RL (moving to another appartment and related issues like re-organizing my work ... ), probably I will also be offline for some days around x-mas.

But I am looking forward to doing my best for the CTP2-section together with E, Locutus and all of you in about 2 weeks. In the meantime I will try to figure out (theoretically) and discuss with The Staff how to merge which parts of the "CTP2-Bureau" into Poly's CTP2-structure ...

The modding knowledgebase: CTP2 Bureau (with CTP2 AE Modding Wiki). Modern Times Mod (work in progress): MoT-Mod for CTP2.

              Hello and a couple questions

Hey everybody greetings from the CTP1 forums. I've been playing CTP1 pbem regularly now for a month. I have several games going and in just a month have processed hundreds of pbem turns!

I also have CTP2 and I am wondering whether it is possible to play pbem on CTP2 or if most people play Multiplayer internet games? I am wondering if there are many opponents to be found for CTP2 it seems there are only two or three new entries in the multiplayer thread during 2006.

Anyway looking for opponents for this version of Civ

Well, you can play CTP2 PBEM in the Apolyton Edition we also added the button back onto the interface. The only drawback is that human to human diplomacy doesn't work.
