Trying to get a multiplayer game

Hey, I just moved to cali and I'm trying to play CTP2 over the internet with my brother back in florida. But I can not get the game to find any servers. I have only played over a LAN before. Does anyone have any help they can offer? I have download the server list, unzipped it into the folder, and downloaded the v1.1 update. Anything I missed? Thanks

If youve unzipped it to the right folder, your ...\ctp2_program\ctp, it should be picking it up.

Yes, that is the folder I unzipped it to. I will just keep playing with the settings. Thanks for the reply.

It looks like the servers.dat file is out of date since last i tested. I just checked and didnt get anything either.

Since i dont know how to generate a new one (or if the servers are actually even still up) maybe you can try this (attached). Ive never used it but its supposed to create a LAN environment over the internet for applications that use it.
