install splash screen

Saw AOM and wanted to give it a whirl.

I haven't played CTPII for a few years. I stuck the CD in to install... and the splash screen appears, but the only options are 'More' and 'Exit'... no 'Install' option??

I've searched through old posts and can't find any q's or answers for that matter on this particular install problem. Anyone had this problem? Do any of you have any ideas that may help?

Well in this case it should be installed on your computer so the play button should work. However you can try a manual install. In the D:\Setup\data\ folder you find two *.ctp files. In fact they are are actually *.zip files just copy and rename them to yout harddrive and you can open them with WinZip on a double click.

Hi Martin, Hmm, clean XP install from a few months back so no existing copy, but, anyway, I did the copy-unzip and it worked. Thanks a lot! Cheers
