Happy to see you guys being serious about the game again. It will be great to spend this coming months playing u all again. Hehe yea I definitely think that I will see you all at the semis at 2025 Ctp2 Olympics. There were many great players before, but we are the only ones still around and I agree with u Barley that we took the game a notch even higher then all the rest. I miss the game much. I have completely forgotten the game though, the feeling is very strange, and I hope Barley u are right that it comes back quickly.

Barley I will be back on the 26th or 27th, will know the exact date this coming week and I will let u know.

And again it's good to see u guys; we should try not to loss contact again.

Its 50:50 whether ill be around before new year as im going to visit my Moms for Christmas, depends if I come home for a few days between Christmas and New Year and whats going in in terms of visitors etc.

If I cant play before New Year im available pretty much all the time (evenings - early mornings) from 2nd January.

How about pencilling in the 4 player game to start Monday 2nd January 2006? Assuming your all free?

How does something like 5pm GMT sound (though the earlier we start the better - I know your 8 hours behind though Toni)...?

Ok were playing one at the moment i'll get a screen shot and post it when we have finished.

To give you an idea last game I won with 28 cities vs 12? Id got to and passed Communism, think opponent was around Facism?

The guy im playing is new to CTP2 and im showing him how to play, he's doing very well, just fell behind last game due to switching from expansion to build a defence and with my play experience I was obviously maxing out every bit of growth while holding minimum units though I had scouts out giving at least an 8 turn warning of attack (we're also playing with graphs on).

I built 60 Cav and stormed his peninsula from land corridor and sea... Feels bad doing it but he's learning well.

Thanks Barley for posting, yea I'm 8 hrs behind you, but that's not a problem. I'm good to go for the 2nd of January team game. My goal is to get some practice right away when I’m back, just need to get my confidence level up before we start Mp games.

Hey Barley was wondering how is your current Mp game going, is the new guy catching up skill wise?

Jan 7th is a Sat which means i can only play until midnight GMT, so it would have to be an early start to be worth it.

Playing until 4pm Tonis time means at least a 10/11am start. Perhaps Monday 9th would be better, keeps getting further away though...

Hi all, this will be my last post for about a week as going to stay at my moms over Christmas..

I am fine to start 7th or 9th? if 7th there is a small chance I cant start before about 5pm GMT but thats unlikely.

Toni... Im still 50:50 whether ill be back in between Christmas and New Year, if so will be 28th/28th/30th? any or all of which. If I am back here i'll post on this thread as soon as poss and hopefully we can sort something out. I dont mind what we play.

As for the new guy he's learning fast but as you can appreciate there are a lot of very fine balances for a almost total perfected game.

Ive not even got to teaching him about combat techniques yet, getting the basic empire growth and intuition sorted out first..

Whats your earliest start on the 9th EPW and Toni? That would pretty much be the time to start for all.

Days before then ill be available to play anyone 1v1 or 1v1v1 to get necessary practice in. (also Civ4 games perhaps).

Maq I will love to have some 1vs1 ctp2 or CivIV with you. I just booked my plane ticket, i will be back on the 29th, so 30th and on I'm free for a game.
