  • Anti-spy measures

    Hi,

In order to protect my civ against lowely enemy spies, I was thinking of placing my own spies in cities. My question now is, if it matters 'how' I place them in cities. I can just put a spy on a city tile, I can put a spy in sentinel mode on a city tile, or I can garrison a spy inside a city. Any idea as to what the most effective method is if I want to make it harder for the enemy to make succesfull spy attacks?

    Thanks a lot

It doesnt make any difference, as long as its on that tile.

      Thanks

      Hi,

Thanks for the post, it makes things a lot easier! I managed to protect my border cities by using all methods I described in my original question, and it seems indeed that all cities were protected, whether it was by sentinel mode, garrisoning or just placing on the tile.

      Thanks for the tip

Fascists also protect cities from spies the same amount (25%) as spies themselves. Cyber Ninja 50%.

You should be able to expel spies in peacetime for free, although of course that won't kill them.
