Can I play this game i a window?

Remeber in Civ II you could play it in a window and have the task bar on so you can see the time, and chat with icq, msn, or whater you wanted.

I just reinstalled CtP2 and was wundering if you can do this as well.

Any help would be apprciated

Actually you can, but only under linux, using the linux port being developed by the source code project. This port is still very unfinished, and non-trivial to get working, so I wouldn't recommend it (certainly not simply to be able to play in a window), but it is nevertheless possible...
