  • How the **** do you expel Corporate Branches?

I've been playing CtP2 (vanilla version) for quite a while now and the one thing that eludes and frustrates me is the expulsion of Corporate Branches. The Great Library doesn't help as its various comments seem to contradict each other.

I think that I've tried everything so
    1) I haven't, or,
    2) there's a bug.

    Thanx in advance.

You must build lawyer, then make him sue the franchises.

Has anyone seen a way where you can track how much money you are receiving from advertising or production from franchises? I don't see it in any tabs? Anyone think it would be a good thing to have a tab that shows all of a players revenue and expenses? (more detailed than the current one)

In fact there is no interface that presents this piece of information to the player. In CTP1 you find it I think on the diplomatic screen. But at least you have a gain of these special units.

can we be sure we get something? i go and franchise all the enemy/will be enemy cities im not interesting in taking but i get so much money from trade i dont know whether francise pays back its costs, guess its good enough if it slows their production though

o yea, im not really sure what corporate or religious attacks really do since i havent found the GL explinations very clear either

            Thank you, one and all.

Regarding the comments in this thread, I emailed a Word doc to Keygen which contained 300+ queries and suggestions (I don't know if he's read it yet). One of the suggestions in it was to enable the player to see a breakdown of income

I'd send it into the Forum as an attachment (for those who might want to read it) but I don't know how to attach docs to these Quick Replies (the FAQ says press the Browse button - what Browse button?

I don't think you can do attachments to Quick Replies. You need to click the Post Reply button, which takes you to a reply page with more options.
