I've just got CTP2( from playing CTP) and when I hire merchants, the gold they generate doesn't seem to contribute to the science output. If I don't hire any merchants things are fine. The only way to generate any serious science is to hire scientists( which I may not want to do). Am I missing something here( maybe I need to get the patch). Thanks.
