City Manager crashes game

Ive meant to ask this for a while - can someone help.

When in game (Single & Multiplayer) after Republic / around that time in game, I often am unable to get into City Manager.

It makes no difference how I access it but when I try it crashes the game.

Is there any fix for this, way to avoid the bug , explanation, possible solution?

Well you should use the playtest version from the source code project, and post there (or in this thread) the content of the crash.txt, so that we have a clue what happens.

The crashes happen with original v1.1 un modded version of the game but seem to be more frequent and game is less stable since ive been playing with:

Slower Science
Graphs Off
Larger Land Ratio’s
No Ruins

How do I get the playtest version of sourcecode project? Is there a thread that details the changes it includes?

How do I capture a text file and when?

The playtest still has alot of multiplayer problems....

Heres the link to the most resent playtest however, just unzip it into your main ctp2 folder....

I don't no if or where you can find a complete list of changes. There aren't a whole lot of obvious new features, but the game is much more stable. However its still like playing unpatched ctp2 multiplayer I think?
