Barley doesn't have much time left so we will have to put the 2v2 off till tommorow. Our game is just getting exciting anyways....

Did you uninstall all copies of CtP2 then reinstall the one youre using? Might work if you uninstall all copies, reboot, then reinstall. Anyway we'll wait a few more minutes then go to server and play a 1v1 if youre still struggling on.
