no matter what I do Since I have my new computer and am running Windows XP home The game plays for multiple moves and then crashes to desktop without warning This happens at variable times It doesnt make a difference whethet I have a clean install or the patch or modswapper or the new source code
I have aDell Dimension 8200 2.38 Gig 500 + megs in memory a nividia GE Force MX 3d card with 64megs memory I amusing Direct X9.0b I have the latest drivers and Windows Xp downloaded It is not any different if I try to use Windows 98 compatability The game plays normally when I was using Windows 98 Oon my old machine I cant find anything specific on the forum Please I need help Love the game since ti came out

I'm not sure what the problem is. I have a Dell with similir specs but I have never had any trouble. Have you tryed reinstalling it? I've heard turning down the Hardware acceleration on the video card improves stability.
