As far as I am concerned I won't have much time at the beginning of this week so waiting for a few days does not bother me."Democracy is the worst form of government there is, except for all the others that have been tried." Sir Winston Churchill

One week to catch up with the threads...
Welcome back!
The previous game failed because we were not all using the same version of the Cradle, you should then check your version of the mod first, it must be the 1.30b.
I think that we can keep the same settings... if we are not afraid of being wiped out of the map."Democracy is the worst form of government there is, except for all the others that have been tried." Sir Winston Churchill

I was expecting hard times with a Very Hard setting only and as far as I remember Hexagonian's has also written somewhere that he is not always winning at such high a difficulty level... but why not."Democracy is the worst form of government there is, except for all the others that have been tried." My last game at 'Very Hard' (gigantic, no raze, mostly landmass, 8 civs) took me about 600 turns to catch the AI and then another 100 or so to surpass them on the powergraph. I can't win on pure conquest with a no-raze' rule, but I had the upper hand on tech at that point in time, and I was winning every battle in the field.
More importantly, I had enough forces to counter any AI incursion. So I guess you could call that a win.
(I'm really not an expert - I'm better at figuring out just what needs to be Modded...)Yes, let's be optimistic until we have reason to be otherwise...No, let's be pessimistic until we are forced to do otherwise...Maybe, let's be balanced until we are convinced to do otherwise. -- DrSpike, Skanky Burns, Shogun Gunner
