  • Civ3 vs. CtP2? Newbie question...

    Hello,

Im a Civ3 player and Ive just now been checking out ctp2. It seems very cool and Id like to get into it...so my question is this:

Is it worth buying and playing ctp2 when you already have civ3 and expansions?

Is it different enough? Are there aspects of ctp2's gameplay that are better than civ3?

    Thanks!

Yes on all three counts. And if you can find it, the price should be low enough that it will definatly be worth buying.

        Oh, and here too.

I also say yes on three counts, but you should realise that the people who post in this forum are the ones who like CtP - you may end up disliking it after all.

Hmm, I see there's no decent comparison thread for a long time, that would mention the newest things about both CtP2 and Civ 3. Would be interesting to see if something along those lines surfaces at some point.
