Hi could anyone tell me if CTP1 and CTP2 work with XP home edition?? As i keep reading about problems playing these games on this OS. just want to know in advance before i load them.

Until then, my CtP2 is perfectly working with XP Pro, there should be no problem with XP Home.
If you are experiencing problems there are several ways to solve them:
- The Win95 or Win98 Compatibility Tools
- Reducing the hardware acceleration
Moreover, the remaining bugs will be progressively solved by the programmers working on the Source Code... but they need time.

Thanks Tamerlin, I`ll try this out tonight, I havent played CTP2 for at least a year and a half and want to get back into it. Cheers for the reply

Ive had problems joining games with XP Pro sp1 and multiplayer, but its always been fine in single player.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)
