  • City Expansion Error!

So I started an apolypck city expansion game, never even got to build a single settler, I ended up spending the first few thousand game-years battling aggressive AI and expanding, next thing I know I have a vast empire (love the multi-cultural architecture by the way).

So I have railroads now, machine-gunners and I've just discovered mass-media, I even got a message saying that I am first to bring the wonders of a new age, I think I should be in the modern age.

Problem- the buildings haven't updated to the modern era graphics (office blocks, sky-scrapers etc) instead they still look like factories and stone buildings (industrial revolution era). Also, the game keeps crashing out to windows with the attached error-message, which I can click through and get back to the same game, but I'm convinced the cities aren't expanding anymore. Any suggestions?

I hope you started a new game afterwards you switched to ApolytonPack with CityExpansion, and by the way pre made maps also count as savegames. So if you continued a game you started before you added the city expansion set you should exspect huge problems.

For the slic error it looks like Pedrunn didn't debug his slic very well, to get rid of the message not of the error you have to open you userprofile.txt with any text editor of your choice in your ..\ctp2_program\ctp\ folder and find there the line DebugSlic=Yes and change it to DebugSlic=No.

Unfortunatly I cannot tell you anything about the cities not expanding anymore, or why you still see city graphics of the industrial style.
