What exactly does a trade pact do?

As far as I understand when both of you and a partner are in a Trade pact you get a bonus (5%) for every caravan (trade route) you have overseas. I may be wrong, but I think that is the case.

The science pact is also at 1.05 right now IIRC. That should be exposed in const.txt too at least.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)
