Friendly units and ZOC

Hello,

I just started playing CtP (an email game with my
brother), my first civ game with a non-computer
opponent.
If we make an alliance, will our units be "friendly"
and be exempt from the ZOC rules?

Yes -- The ZOC's do not restrict movement between allied units. Good gaming!
