Map Help

I recently downloaded some maps from this website. The download went fine, but now I don't how to get them to work. How do you use downloaded maps?

That's funny-

I came here this morning to ask the same question!

I downloaded the large 28civ world manp, and per the instructions put it into the save/maps directory. The Readme file said to launch the game and load the map. But I couldn't get to the map. All that was listed iin my save game options were the standard ctp save files.

Does anyone feel inclined to give us a crash course in civ (ctp) mods/maps for dummies?

Can't remember.

But I know, that there had been some posts about the same subject earlier. Choose the option: "Show the topic from the last year" or use your search function.
