I installed the Apolyton Pack, but when I try play it, it goes to Windowses Desktop. Theres an error message "Could not find ADVANCE_FUNDMETALISM in string database"

Well the problem is the language version the ApolytonPack is made for the English version so all the string files go into a directory called ..\ctp_data\english\gamedata\ The solution in CTP2 would be just to copy the files from the english folder to the german folder. Here in CTP1 you can just rename the according folder. Unfortunatly as I did I was able to run the game but when I tried to use the diplomacy manager to contact another civ the game crashed. Well you could use the information in this thread.
To turn your German version into an English version. I am shure it is possible to fix the problem but it would need some time that I don't have, unfortunatly.
