CtP without CD ?

Is it possible to play CtP without having to put the CD in the CD-rom player? Currently my CD-rom player has difficulty reading CD's which makes playing Ctp irritating when approx. each 5 minutes the game is stopped because the CD player can not find the CD.
Is there any registry setting which specifies this?

I don't know about any registry settings, but you can download a No-CD hack at www.megagames.com (which one you need depends on your language/patches.
