It won't recognize the CD!!! HELP!!!

Well, I installed the game, all fine.
I played a tutorial, all fine.
then I try to play a real game, no go.
It says to insert the call to power cd, but its already in there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just in case anybody has the same problem, the solution is to install the lastest patch.
