Excluding Special Units and Wonders in single player game

I can start a multiplayer game..exclude what I want like clerics,lawyers and corporate branches..maybe some wonders..and save this game and restart it as a single by moving the saved game to the single payer file..BUT..MY QUESTION is can i do this as a single player..you know..EXCLUDE certain units?

Editing units.txt is only way i know of. Easymod2.5 makes that task fairly easy to do. Pretty sure there is a cant build option. If temp change save the original and changed files in seperate place. Then paste in what u want for that game. I use this to give CTP the upgrade for spy to see all other special forces, ie. lawyer, slaver etc... that is going into CTP2.
