Alexander's Horse : you know it is a legitimate question . but I played CIV 1 at the age of 11 and it still interested me .
you know the knowledge of strategies is influenced much more by experience and common sense than by age .

Well, I always thought new blood was good. I'll be 53 this year, but I prefer CTP over the original civs. Not that there isn't still room for improvement.
I still like to play board games too. Does that make me a dinosaur?

Not at all, I have boards and can still remember when to play an TBS game you had to buy lead soldiers and paint them
