  • Viewing units in enemy cities

Is it possible to view units within a enemy civilization's cities? Also, is there any way to see stats on an enemy unit or enemy stack without having to lookup the unit on the chart based on what it looks like?

    Any suggestion(s) would be appreciated.

I am running CTP for Linux (2.2.10) on an i586.

    Thanks,
    Resolute

You can look into an enemy city with a spy or cyber ninja. I can't remember if you can do it with a diplomat. There is a chance you will get caught and lose the unit. The other method is to sacrifice a unit in a suicide attack (Leftover warriors and phalanxes are good for this. However, I usually end up disbanding them in a race to acquire some important wonder or unit).

I know of no place where the unit stats are displayed except on that fold out chart. I guess you'll just have to memorize them over time.

The description for the Spy Plane has the line: "can peer into enemy cities" but it either does not do this or I don't know how.
      Can it really do this?

        Hi guys,
In the creation forum we are discussing SLIC code that may enable you to do just this. Join the discussion there or just wait until we get it done and I'll be happy to send you the code when it works. (You can also wait for our mod to come out, but I don't know how long that'll take)

Yes, in fact the SLIC codes are finished and tested working, refer to the following thread for the SLIC trigger.
