  • Recovering after televangelist attack

PLaying CTP single user. One of my cities was
coverted to a "foreign" religion by a televangelist. My
lawyer chased him away, but the city remains converted.

How do I convert it back?
Do I really need to worry about this? I think it's still sending resources to the country that sponsored the televangelist. Is that right?

    Thanks,
    Doofus

You can convert it back with the reform function of any military unit (it costs 1000 gold). You are correct in thinking that it takes resources - gold in fact. You can determine how much by looking at the intelligence section of the diplomacy screen.

Wasting 1000 gold in it will empty your coffers more than just waiting them to convert back
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

I do not think it convert back by itself.

          Just remember these two things:

If you attack the nation, who have converted one or more of your cities, then the city/cities get -3 in happiness and they are most likely to revolt!

When you convert a city back, it also gets -3 in happiness (think it was "only" -3 and not more).

          Edit:

That was much more than -3.

I just did it - converting a city back. The city (my capitol) was close to make a new nation/join the babarians. Happiness 67!!!!!!

First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.
