Hi fellow civers
No questions ctp is a gr8 game but the interface has many inadequacies....one of which IS
I have a civ with nearly 40 cities and at this stage im finding it impossible to keep track of my units or to find them.
As far as i can gather the only way to currently find a particular units is:
1. click thru next unit button until you find it ( hardly time saving and pretty useless when u have countless units all over the map/and in and around cities)
2. Remember where u put it! ( even more unlikely )
Is there any way in ctp like C&C where one can create groups of units and number/name them for ease of location for future reference/useuse?
Ill keep the Q's and hopefully A's posted as i get up to speed with the inner workings of the game. Currently im analysing the gamedata/ai directory files.
BTW i recommend the apolyton and medieval scenarios/updates to anyone who is serious about playing improved version of the original game. Really much more realistic game strategy and hardly any crashes....
with one exception when placing TI i very often get crashes!

Of course now i save on almost every turn..also tiring
anyone figured a way of autosaving every turn???
Glad to be a part of this group hope we can share ideas and comments in the future
Compliments of the season to all of you your families and loved ones
Lets pray for peace in 2003! G-d willing
