Where are the CtP leader pictures hidden??????

I'm really confused about this. The civ_str.txt file has a picture file listed for each of the diplomatic emissaries.

e.g.
GREEK_DIPLOMAT_PHOTO "upd023.tga"
AMERICAN_DIPLOMAT_PHOTO "upd010.tga"
SCOTTISH_DIPLOMAT_PHOTO "upd044.tga"

Only I can't find any of these files anywhere!!! Where are upd010.tga and all the rest of the them hidden????

This is exceedingly frustrating. I know I am probably missing something blatantly obvious, but can anybody help me???!

Inside the pic555.zfs file in the default/graphics/pictures directory.
You can open it using Martin the Dane's ReadZFS program, available in the CtP2 file directory.

Once you've opened the file, you can read the targas, and resave them for editing.

If you're overwriting them, then you don't actually need to get them out, just put the replacement targas in the same directory, and the game will read them instead of the default ones.
