Multiplayer Failure to Connect

I recently installed CTP on a machine with Windows 2000, and it will not connect to the servers, and simply says 'Waiting for Servers'. Does anyone have any suggestions to offer?

You need new server files.

Sorry, I have no clue. I tried searching but could not find them, where would I get them?
