playing on a 13" monitor laptop

I need an advice on how to run Civilization CTP on my laptop. My monitor is only 13" and if I select the 1024x768 configuration, not all the images appear on the screen. This is not a problem: Normally, I can scroll the images up and down, left and right, by pointing the mouse off screen. However, this does not happen when I am playing C-CTP. In other words, the images on the screen do not scroll, and I see only a small fraction of them.

Anybody can help me?

I run it on a 13" laptop screen and it works fine on 800x600 resolution. Are you sure your screen supports 1024x768?
