unable to join lobby

I have two computers connected via ethernet, and when i try to play with a friend, one computer can get into the lobby, but the other computer always says "unable to join lobby."

i've used both tcp/ip lan and ipx and it never works.

i have patched both games and know for a fact that other MP games work.

I am sorry to tell you that I have exactly the same problem for more than a year now. It can be solved but it requires to make a loophole in the firewall. To do that you need to know what port is used by the server. I never succeeded in finding the right port.

How about getting into the lobby offered by a file you can download from some of the people here on 'poly?

My question is wondering if Mac users can get in, and how.
