im back online after over a full week.
funny. the reason for all the problems was that i tried to connect my laptop to my internet box. then nothing worked anymore. later i was told that connecting another PC to that box got my standard port closed.
... sheesh !Baal: "You dare mock me ?"
O'Neill: "Baal, c'mon, you should know ... Of course I dare mock you."

I appear not to be receiving emails. When I opened my outlook, my isp sent heaps of junk mail through, most of which was dated before I last logged in. No legit mail tho. Since then, I've only received junk.
I assume my isp has its settings backward
I'll give it a day, and if it's not rectified, I'll post a different email address.

My isp was a very popular and very reliable local company, recently bought out by a conglomerate. Capitalism, you just gotta love it
