Yes, I have one... I may not play my turns quickly due to a dodgy CtP, with me having to re-install it every time I get them. My apologies

I would advice you to post your problem with full details in the Help Desk thread.

                          Love that recession...

Anyway... my life has become rather hectic in this past week. First off, I may need to get some temp subs lined up for some of my games... I don't have my full game list here with me or else I'd mention them now... last night I passed out from exhaustion on the couch at about 5:30-6:00 PM my time and didn't wake up until about midnight... too late to play anything, so my apologies there...

Likewise, my wife has recently been hit by the recession (her wages have been cut) and therefore if I seem a little anti-social, rude, or just not getting to my turns as quickly as I usually do... I've got some new stressors besides school to think about: money.

Anyway... wish us luck, and I'll try to get to my turns ASAP.

FF - keep up the mood.

I also listening on the economics news here in Denmark. The pessimism are there - but......

But it is not sticking very deep.

My opinion is, that once again (well several years back actually), many finacial mens (normally they are men) have fallen back-over, impressed by smoothtaking and golden promises.

My guess is, that we are close to have a new positive attitude and thereby not as woundeable as before. We will survive.

But - and that is my personal wish - KEEP YOUR MONEY AND YOUR LIFE OUT OF "COMET-FIRMS". You are most likely to be the one (or one of many), who has to pay for your chiefs "visions". Don't loose yourself in a daydream.

Sorry to hear that FlameFlash. Must be difficult, especially with a young child and all.

You know, in Australia the first couple of years as a parent are regarded as a high risk time for a person, as the added pressures can lead to depression, relationship breakdown, that sort of thing. I found myself getting very down at times in that period of my life, as did my wife. It helped a lot when people told me that what we were going through was normal, to be expected, and not to lose sight of the bigger picture (eg, your child will grow and become more independent, you will have more time to youself, that sort of thing).

Moving on to global economic discussion, Australia has had a period of record economic growth over the last decade, even while the world economy has languished. I put it down to the economic reforms enacted by our previous government during the late 80's and early 90's, but of course the present government is taking all of the credit.

Mind you, even with such high growth, the present government (conservative) which promotes itself as the superior economic manager, forecast a surplus last year but came in with a deficit, restructured the tax system (in favour of... you guessed it, the rich) and now keeps pulling extra levies out of its as.. er hat. It looks as if we're just about to get a new levy... one to pay for a war which the vast majority of the population don't want a bar of.

Anyway, enough of my ranting... Hang in there FlameFlash, and always remember to think of how you will think about all of this when you are at the far end of your life...
