  • I need some help

    Good day!

I've been playing CTP for a while, but it's been a few days since I discovered this site and started toying with new stuff.

So far I've got PowerSlics, Nordicus Trade and other minor stuff (like the satellite unit) and I'm still testing them.

    I do have a problem.

Now, when one of my cities is occupied or I occupy an enemy capital, (two crossed swords icon) or a city is annihilated by any reason (skull icon), the alert box doesn't close and keep popping back turn after turn.

So, when you play lets say 200 turns, I have a full page of old messages to scroll before I get to the new messages for the actual turn.

Any idea why is this happening?

    thanks

I had a similar prob to this ages ago when testing a mod in ctp2. Immortal Wombat knew how to fix it I think. Something about slic and debug if I remember?

You can right-click on the message icon to make it go away.

        He did?

The only thing I can think is go into userprofile.txt and change DebugSlic from No to Yes, or vice versa. Just make sure it changes, then test it again. If you get loads of crashes, change it back again...

It was when you were in the making of your ctp2 Mars scenario Wombat, and I forgot to debug the slic when testing.
