Well, I'm glad you got the mod to work. It really does improve the game.
Thats a cool avatar you've got there Immortal Wombat
    Thanks!
I'm glad Markos reduced it to 500 posts, I had 550 when the decision was made Now I can use this cool little guy

Never mind Metal, even if you post really slowly, you can get a custom avatar after 6 months registered.

        LOL Fuzzball!!

Actually, Tom of Finland (can't remember his real name right now) was a very good artist in pencil and charcoal, and then later, color painting.

In many of his drawings, he exaggerated some features of the fictional men with thighs, pecs, and um - another part.
And others might disagree, but I think in many of them, he exaggerated the features, but not too such an extreme.

But there were other drawings/paintings of his where such features were done a bit too much out of proportion.

Oh yeah, here's a big surprise -- Tom of Finland was gay.

I am very new to this group and would like to know whether the hack and MedMod pack works for CTP on linux as well. (I have upgraded to the 1.2a patch already).

                Thanks,

                Srikant

Sorry, I do not know anything about the Linux aspect.

But I have a question myself. What part of the text files should I edit if I want computer opponents to agree to withdrawing??

As the Med Mod 4.0 pak stands right now, no matter how well the computer opponent regards you, they NEVER agree to withdraw.

Thank you for any help anyone.

I think it was Luke Loh (a.k.a. Locutus?) that worked on ctp for Linux. I remember seeing some sites a while ago for ctp and linux, but I haven't worn my red hat in a long time. Have you tried getting in touch with Luke Loh or Wes Whitaker about it Srikant?

Thanks for the tip. I did figure out that most of the configuration data was in text files which is great since that is very unix-like. I will get in touch with them and find out more. Unfortunately, Loki doesn't have too much information about the mods. If the mod packs are just self-extracting exes (which I suspect), it would be great if apolyton also just put the zip files as well on their web site (linux can read zip files but not the exes).

                        Thanks,

BTW, Luke Loh is Celestial Dawn here, and I've not seen him on Apolyton for ages... Locutus is Wouter Snijders, but I think he uses windows, and CD was the linux person.
