help with small problem

Hello, recently found this site and installed CTP after many years to try the mods.
I downloaded and installed patch 1.2, 1.21 hack, and medieval 4 in the order specified in the stickied thread.
However I have 2 small problems.
1 was when I completed the the Sphinx wonder I got the video for another wonder. I think it was the Stock Exchange. This doesn't really bother me too much.

the other problem are these little messages that appear when something happens in a city. As you can see they point to the file instead of showing the city name or population.

I tried reinstalling the game and it didn't work.
sow how can I fix this?




Also, is there any way to abandon a city? I want to destroy 2 cities I conquered from the ai.

Try just reinstalling but without the Medieval 4 or the 1.21 Hack. See if that works.

You can "disband" a city, from the "City" menu, if the population is 3 or less. If it is above 3 then you can starve it down until it hits a population of 3 then disband it.
